Suzanne St. Yves Award of Excellence
This award is to be given to a graduating student of the Red River College American Sign Language-English Interpretation Program who reflects the values Suzanne brought to every aspect of her work in ASL-English interpreting: the highest ethical principles and actions, always striving for excellence, unwavering respect toward everyone she interpreted for, especially Deaf community members, and collegiality and friendships within her chosen field.

MAVLI Bursary
The MAVLI Bursary is provided to demonstrate our continued support to ASL-English Interpretation students in the province of Manitoba.
Applicant Requirements
- Be a student member of MAVLI.
- Be a full-time student at the end of their first year of the AEIP, or part-time student who intends to register for at least one further year of studies. The bursary will be awarded at the beginning of their second year.
- Applicants must be enrolled in at least six credit hours of course work per semester of the year in which they apply, and enrol in at least six credit hours of course work per semester of the year in which they receive the bursary.
